DART97: A Description of the Multi-regional, Multi-sectoral Trade Model for the Analysis of Climate Policies
Gernot Klepper, Sonja Peterson and Katrin Springer
Abstract: The DART model is a multi-sectoral, multi-regional dynamic
computable general equilibrium model of the world developed for the
analysis of international climate policies. Since the first version of DART
was developed at the Kiel Institute for World Economics in 1998, the model
has undergone a number of changes to run on more recent data and to analyze
prevailing issues associated with international emission trading. The aim
of this paper is to provide an up-to-date model description and thus to lay
open the basis of the results of past and future policy analysis with
DART97.
