No 1055:
Der Strombinnenmarkt und die Kommissionsvorschläge: Zentralisierung oder Wettbewerb der Regulierungsansätze?
Lars Kumkar
This paper
provides an overview of the status quo of the Internal Market for
Electricity and the recent CommissionÂ’s proposals for a modification of
the electricity directive and for a regulation of conditions for the access
to the network for cross-border exchanges in electricity. Particular
attention is dedicated to the question, to what extent the centralization
of regulation competencies on the European level is an adequate response to
the current problems, for instance in the area of cross-border supplies of
electricity.
